A great day out in the sunshine today on Dartmoor, but the wind was chilly

The Outdoor Club went climbing this evening at Dart Rock, great time climbing and bouldering and even a quick run through the cave

So called on account of the Lancaster bomber that crashed there during WW2

Which makes a great belay...

...to protect the cheeky step, its only two moves, but they are committing and currently pose a rock problem rather than icy climbing.

The route for the day - anti-clockwise, over the three Horns of Alligin and then along the ridge.

Over in the Cairngorms today - 104mph on the summit is a little windy and so far the road is closed so having an admin day of updating the blog and doing some marking. The pictures above are from Sunday on Beinn Alligin.
