Wet and wild on Gold D of E

This weekend, the Gold D of E students have battled wind, rain, mist and ice in order to complete their 3 day practice expedition. All students did well and completed the walk but all are hoping the qualifying will be somewhat warmer and drier.

My thanks to the other staff who helped out.

Mountain Biking Day 2

Today the Ad Bac students went out for their second day of Mountain Biking.  They cycled a route they had previously planned starting at Prince town, they headed out along the Bridalway to Nuns Cross then continued on to Sheepstor and Burrator Resivour, picking up the dissued railway which brought them back to Princetown.  The students looked at developing their skills learnt the previous week as well as navigating their way around.
