Stunning day out with the BTEC students. The sun made for good pictures, but it wasn't that warm out!

It was wet out there
It only started raining when we got out of the bus, we thought that shelters first was a good idea. Finding dry fire wood was a challenge but everyone managed to get a fire going.

Hot Chocolate and Marshmallows
A great evening out with the Discoverers Club yesterday. Everyone lit a fire and some people even managed to light one with just the materials they found in the woods.
The fire was good enough for hot chocolate and we let it reduce to coals while we built some shelters (with imaginative use of tent poles!) before roasting marshmallows.
