The day started well when we felled the tree, and it kept getting better. The weather helped but so did the pizza, bread and cake we made on the fire. We also looked at making fire in the wet and creating shelters with tarps.

Glorious afternoon on the river
A very different day from the last time we were on the river on a Wednesday afternoon. All students managed to go in a straight line and established a good idea of ferry gliding and breaking in. Then we went for a short swim!

Discoverers evening out at the Dewerstone
It was much more windy that we imagined it would be, but all 16 students scrambled to the top and had a climb. General consensus is that short were no ideal apparel.
