RLSS Beach Lifeguard Exam

Well done to Alex, Sean, Will, Miss Starling and Mr Mayerle who all passed their RLSS Beach Lifeguard assessment this afternoon after the last few weeks of training.

There are no pictures today as Mr Starks also had to get in the water to requalify for the 8th time and was too busy swimming to take a camera.

Final Beach Training session

After a number of sessions in the pool and a few at the beach we reached our last training day before Thursdays exam. The weather was kind but the water seems to have got colder.

Haldon Hill Biking

Today the Ad Bac Students went to Haldon Hill to continue with the Mountain Biking section of their course.   They continued to develop there skills on the pump track and skills circuit, before heading out along the blue Challenge trail.  After a short break for lunch and another go round the pump track we decided to tackle the red, ridge ride trail. This route is more technical than the blue and tested the groups bike control and balance as well at their skills to look ahead and read the route.
