Beinn Eighe & Fuselage Gully
Great sky first thing
It's a long walk in
But with some stunning views
Triple Buttress on Beinn Eighe
Starting up Fuselage Gully
So called on account of the Lancaster bomber that crashed there during WW2
Which makes a great belay...
...to protect the cheeky step, its only two moves, but they are committing and currently pose a rock problem rather than icy climbing.
Some good views
a bit of rope phaff
Some stunning views on the top
Scotland is go in Torridon
The route for the day - anti-clockwise, over the three Horns of Alligin and then along the ridge.
The only 'successful' selfie of the day
and up that one as well
Found a trig point
Over in the Cairngorms today - 104mph on the summit is a little windy and so far the road is closed so having an admin day of updating the blog and doing some marking. The pictures above are from Sunday on Beinn Alligin.
