We were blessed with a dazzling day of sunshine but with biting winds for our trip to the South Cornish Coast. The teams clocked up an impressive mileage and height gain, and everyone enjoyed a ferry ride. Fantastic

A break from being indoor, we escaped into the unexpectedly fine afternoon for some scrambling and topped out for fine views on top of the Dewerstone.

Learning the ropes
The Second year students ran a superb day for the first year students. By the end of the day everyone could correctly don a harness, tie-in, belay and had the beginnings of an idea about movement skills. Well done folks
Monday night's alright for walking
We were too early in the week for the Blue Super Moon, but we were treated to a magnificent fiery sky at sun set when we ventured onto the moor on Monday evening
