A break from being indoor, we escaped into the unexpectedly fine afternoon for some scrambling and topped out for fine views on top of the Dewerstone.

Bronze DofE students enjoying a bike about Plym Bridge
The conditions were superb for the Bronze DofE this afternoon. We headed to Plym Bridge and split into groups by ability, then headed off on the various trails. Everyone pushed themselves, achieving more than they thought they could.

Where did that mist come from?
It started off so nice, then just as we were getting to the top - the mist came in! No views at all from the top, but a good effort to the students who navigated their way around the moor

DofE training on Saturday
I know is isn't Saturday, but we were out on Dartmoor with an introduction to Wild Country day including navigation, river crossings and sandwiches in the wind

Silver DofE Canoe training
Well done to all those out canoeing today, we were spared the rain and wind until just as we got off. An efficient and motivated group :)
