Some of our Explorers went out this afternoon and had a go at fire lighting. We got one fire going really well, but lots was learnt by all and we had a go at making bread, which almost rose!! It was great to welcome Mrs Hayward along for the afternoon, even if she didn't want to eat any half cooked bread!

Bushcraft means pizzas!
What a wonderful day out. The sun faded and it didn't get below 4 degrees, but the students got a good fire going, made pizzas and hot chocolate, and then carved spoons until the fire was right and we enjoyed toasting marshallow before heading home to clear everything up!
