We avoided the rain for the start, but managed to get wet in the river anyway with some students even trying a head stand at the end

Kayaking on the Plym anyone?
Our explorers club had a brilliant time this afternoon on the Plym. Levels were a bit low, but there was enough water to float down all of it. Well done to all those who successfully ferried, eskimo rolled and broke in and out of the flow, oh and everyone went over the waterfall!

First years Ghyll Scramble in the Plym
We spent the morning in the River Plym, swimming and sliding, ahead of our white water paddling in the next few weeks. The consensus was chilly but great fun!
