This weekend was he first time that the team met with Becky our leader from Wilderness Expertise. We now have our itinerary shaped and kit list sorted.
Last night the L6 students on the Sports Bac went to Whiteworks for the night for one of the units they cover. In the afternoon students undertook a range of challenges to gain clues to help them with their walk out this morning. This morning we were greeted with clear blue skys for our walk out to Norsworthy Bridge via Nuns Cross and Down Tor.
The first Year 7 tutor group to go to White Works set the bar high, all the students were impeccably well behaved throughout with individuals quite literally throwing themselves into the activities.
This weekend the boarding prefects headed to whiteworks for a training weekend. They spent Saturday morning doing some team building activities before planning an activity to run for the younger boarders on Sunday afternoon. In the evening they
On the second of the Year 7 Trips to Whiteworks Bunkhouse we were again treated to excellent weather and great views as we walked in from Norsworthy Bridge. An evening of Team Building challenges followed before dinner and a nightline.
This weekend was the first of the Year 7 overnight experiences at Whiteworks. A walk from Norsworthy Bridge, Team Building challenges, a campfire and a nightline all on Friday afternnon and Saturday morning was a waalk out and upto Princetown.
This weekend has been spent at the school bunkhouse on Dartmoor with the
boarding prefects doing team challenges and scenario training. The
result was cooking a lovely 3 course dinner and running activities this
afternoon for the younger boarders.
