Activity week going Climbing

After Sailing on Monday and Kayaking yesterday, the swimmers were climbing today at the Dewerstone.  Lots of sunshine with a gentle breeze to keep the flies away.

Yachting Expedition

This week the Ad Bac students are out on two yachts Sealion and Cornish Air. We left Jupiter Point yesterday and completed some sail training in the the sound before heading to Newton Ferries for the evening. Today we headed out to sea before tacking and heading into Fowey just before 4pm. Good sailing conditions and averaging around 4.5 knots meaning we made good time.

Staff sea kayak from Wembury

This evening a number of staff went for an evening paddle from Wembury, around the Mew Stone and back before it got dark.  It seems that sometimes wetsuit boots are difficult to remove...!

Staff Mountain Biking in Plym Woods & Cann Woods

Yesterday evening had Plymouth College Staff out biking.  We first did the new blue route in Plym Bridge Woods, before cycling up the hill and having an explore around some of the many trails in Cann woods.  Safe to say that good fun was had by all!

Second day of Hills Skills for the BTEC Students

Totally different conditions for the Second day of Hill Skills, where ticks were more of an issue than the rain.  Well one to all who completed.
