We had a delayed start this morning as we waited for students to show up. Two out of the five made it in, some citing reasonable excuses while others were a no show. The select few headed out to Mount Batten and launched at Batten Bay. We headed out to the break water and once we stuck our heads around the corner we were exposed and the full weather hit us. We were unimpressed with this and so turned and headed for a hidden beach for lunch before deciding that discretion was the better part of valour and we headed home. Great day out rock hopping and being on the sea, not much of a view tho!

Sea kayak from the river Erme
A fantastic day paddling today. We went on the sea as the river levels are super low.
We found a cracking beach out of the wind and in the sunshine to get a fire going and made hot chocolate and soup before rock hopping back for a surf before heading home.

Upper sixth sea kayak from Brixham
With no water in the rivers and string winds throughout the day we headed for Brixham and explored the harbour and surrounding coast line, and made friends with a seal for the day.

Second years sea kayaking from Newton Ferrers
In among the rocks...
Beached...!
Does it go...?
Through!
Ah! I see the problem
Mind your head
Lunch time, in the rain
Where has all the water gone?!
Oh look, surf!
Almost went in
Go go go!
