Cave-tastic in Prishamsleigh

Yesterday evening was a good time to be underground, out of all the rain and wind. I know it is muddy in there, but I forgot quite how muddy! I didn't think the phone would cope with more than a couple of short without switching permanently off!

Ten Tors, but not as we know it!

We headed to the coast path yesterday for a long walk without teachers. It was chilly and windy, but all the teams made brilliant progress.

A bit of climbing at the Life Centre

We had a good turn out and while some students went caving, we headed to the Life Centre for some climbing. It was the first time for some people, but those that had been before soon showed the others the ropes and we managed a good number of routes before heading to the bouldering wall

Whittling away the time

A good, safe performance from everyone yesterday evening. We split in to two groups, half climbing and half developing their carving skills, before swapping over after a quick snack. Everyone is coming along well and developing good technique.

A spot of climbing

Well done to the climbers today, a great effort and developing many skills.

Some of the students didn't have their forms, so we challenged them to many and varied challenges. Some others did remember theirs and so went biking :)
