We avoided the rain for the start, but managed to get wet in the river anyway with some students even trying a head stand at the end

Water-y start to the Discoverers club this year
Cracking water levels in the river today for the first outing of the Discoverers Club. Some students were swept off their feet with the excitement (or maybe the flow of the water). In any case, we didn't manage to put anyone off so watch this space for next weeks instalment

First outing for the Discoverers' Outdoor Club this year
We had a full house today for the Discoverers' Club and welcomed some new students as well as some who returned for another year of adventures. We spent a brilliant evening in the river Plym getting thoroughly wet. Here's to the start of a great year.
